ICCIUK’s AI vs AI 2026: Championing Artisanal Intelligence in Support of Esharelife

On 15th May 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK (ICCIUK) hosted the AI vs AI: Artificial Intelligence vs Artisanal Intelligence 2026 experience. The event was a testament to the strength of human innovation, by providing a platform for both artificial and artisanal intelligence to display their craft. The artisans’ works were then sold through a silent auction, and Esharelife is honoured to be the beneficiary of these proceeds.

In times of rapidly evolving technology, such events remind us of the complex skills that form the foundation of humanity. Through a showcase of Italian craftsmanship, the ICCIUK hosted a unique experience characterised by conviviality, innovation, and culture.

Renowned Italian architect and designer Michele De Lucchi opened the evening with a keynote address, introduced by Daniel Gava. This was followed by a panel discussion and live showcases of artisan crafts on stage, ranging from the making of a tie to the delicate art of ceramics by Fabbrica D’Aniello, and the storied craft behind Parmigiano Reggiano. Guests were then able to engage with these showcases through a live Q&A session, moderated by Gianluigi Ballarani.

The panel brought together voices from both sides of the intelligence debate: Andrea Calafiore from TikTok, Ila Colombo – AI artist and founder of Deond – and Vittorio Dal Maso of AI boutique 700×100. Adding a further dimension to the dialogue, AI artist Stefano Pollio contributed his work to the showcase, with an AI avatar created by House of AI bringing a striking visual presence to the evening.

Following the programme, guests moved to the Terrace for a networking cocktail reception, where the atmosphere of culture and connection continued. The evening concluded with a charity auction of the artisans’ creations, with all proceeds going directly to Esharelife in support of our mission.

We are deeply grateful to ICCIUK for their generosity in naming Esharelife as the beneficiary of the AI vs AI: Artificial Intelligence vs Artisanal Intelligence extraordinary initiative,  personally presented by President Cav Roberto Costa and Secretary Mr Walter Gumina and brought to life with the support and dedication of their team. We also extend our sincere thanks to all the artisans, speakers, and guests whose contributions made the evening such a memorable celebration of human creativity.
