

On the 19th of January 2026, the journey to the Guinness World Record for the Longest Tiramisù kicked off with a press conference at the Italian Cultural Institute. Open to international journalists and influencers, and marked by the participation of the Foreign Press Association (FPA), this conference shared with the world the beginning of a remarkable project celebrating culinary excellence and community.
ComplitalyTV, the organisers of this record, also shared a timeline of events building up to the final attempt, such as presentations at the Italian Parliament and the House of Commons, as well as a reception at the Italian Ambassador’s residence in London. Moreover, attendees were able to learn more about the Attempt’s sponsors and partners: from world-renowned Illy Caffè to the presence of Giuseppe Dell’Anno, winner of The Great British Bake Off, it was evident that The Guinness World Record Attempt for the World’s Longest Tiramisù was going to be a historic event for the Italian community and the city of London.
