Esharelife at the Residence of the Italian Embassy in London

On the eve of the Attempt weekend, Esharelife was honoured to attend the reception The Longest Tiramisù – Guinness World Record Attempt reception at the Residence of the Italian Embassy in London.

The evening was a delightful showcase of Italian culinary tradition and warmth, with the attendance of the renowned Italian pastry chef Iginio Massari. Ambassador Fabio Cassese opened the reception with a warming speech welcoming guests to the residence, and addressing the exciting nature of being part of this event so early on in his term as Ambassador of Italy to the United Kingdom.

Esharelife Chairman Prof Maurizio Bragani OBE followed this by sharing Esharelife’s vision with the guests, underlining our mission to support communities in need worldwide through education, nutrition, and healthcare.

Following this, Alessandro Allocca led a conversation with Chef Iginio Massari and Chef Francesco Boccia, discussing the culinary excellence behind the tradition that is tiramisù, and the efforts that have gone into making the event possible.

After the speeches, guests were able to enjoy a wide variety of Italian treats, from Sicilian delicacies to traditional Roman pastas and, of course, a slice of tiramisù.

This evening was the perfect prelude to the final Guinness World Record Attempt: it highlighted culinary excellence, delicacy, and tradition.
