Celebrating Trustee Zilah Skerrit on Receiving the Freedom of the City of London

On 9 March 2026, Esharelife Foundation proudly celebrated a special moment for one of our trustees, Zilah Skerrit, who was awarded the Freedom of the City of London during a ceremony at the historic Guildhall.

The event, attended by Zilah’s family and colleagues from Esharelife, marked an important recognition of her service and contributions to public life in London and beyond.

The Freedom of the City of London is one of the capital’s most historic civic honours. It is granted to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to civic life and meaningful service to their communities. Zilah’s award reflects years of commitment to public service, charity, and community engagement.

At Esharelife, Zilah serves as a trustee and plays an important role in supporting the Foundation’s mission. She has been actively involved in shaping strategy, supporting impactful projects, and contributing to fundraising and community engagement initiatives that enable the Foundation to continue its work supporting vulnerable communities.

Her commitment has helped strengthen Esharelife’s ability to expand its reach and deepen its impact. Through thoughtful guidance and hands-on involvement, Zilah has demonstrated the values that sit at the heart of the Foundation’s work: compassion, service, and a belief in the power of communities to support one another.

This honour recognises not only Zilah’s professional contributions, but also her dedication to charitable and civic activities that make a lasting difference. Her excellent work continues to inspire those around her and contributes to the positive impact Esharelife strives to achieve every day.

Everyone at Esharelife Foundation warmly congratulates Zilah Skerrit on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have her as a trustee and grateful for the passion and commitment she brings to our mission.
