Esharelife Donation to Acorn Farm’s new Visitor Centre

Esharelife is enthusiastic about our collaboration with Acorn Farm, a recent addition to our wide network of beneficiaries.

Located in Knowsley, Merseyside, Acorn Farm is a remarkable charity dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with special educational needs and making a lasting impact on the wider community. Through a hands-on, community-centred approach, the farm offers a wide range of meaningful daytime activities—such as horticulture, animal care, farm maintenance, and youth volunteering—to create an interactive learning environment.

Since its founding over 50 years ago, Acorn Farm has become a vital resource in one of the UK’s most deprived areas, providing over 100 placements for individuals through close collaboration with local schools and community groups. The farm’s focus on inclusive, practice-based learning continues to empower individuals and create lasting, positive change.

Following the success of our recent summer fundraiser, Esharelife Foundation was delighted to make a donation to support the construction of a new visitor centre at Acorn Farm. This new facility will significantly enhance the farm’s capacity to serve people with learning disabilities while also providing a welcoming space for broader community engagement.

Our trustee, Mr Neil Ancell, recently visited Acorn Farm and was warmly welcomed by CEO Tracy Tremble and Chairman Christopher Roderick. He witnessed first-hand the dedication of the staff and volunteers, and the exceptional work they do every day to support both the people and the environment around them.

We are truly honoured to collaborate with a charity that shares our values and commitment to community empowerment. None of this would be possible without the generosity of Esharelife’s friends and supporters. To everyone who contributed to our mission—thank you. Your support does not go unnoticed.
