On the weekend of the 25th – 26th of April 2026, Esharelife is excited to stand as the fortunate beneficiary of one of London’s most exciting culinary fundraising events: an Official Attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for The Longest Tiramisù, hosted at the historic Chelsea Old Town Hall.
On the 19th January, a press conference at the Italian Cultural Institute announced the project and provided an overview of the upcoming events that will culminate in the final breaking of the record, while also introducing guests to Esharelife’s mission. Organised by Complitaly, a media platform aimed at the Italian community in the United Kingdom, and supported by the Italian Culinary Federation (FIC), this event will be a testament to the longstanding relationship between Italy and the UK, while also contributing to the fight against poverty through its support for the Esharelife Foundation.
This event will be preceded by a series of promotional events: in February, the project will be presented to the House of Commons and the Italian Parliament. In April, the Italian Embassy in London will host a Gala Dinner with the presence of international media as well as both British and Italian institutions. Throughout the following months, the event will also be shared through social media and has already been announced in the press by the Italian financial newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore and the city’s very own London Mums Magazine. Finally, on the eve of the main event, the Chelsea Old Town Hall will host a day of festivities including an Italian Expo and live entertainment from Chiara Nova, the Italian Radio Society, and the Ed Sheeran Experience.
The official Guinness World Record attempt for the longest tiramisù will exceed the current record of 273 meters, aiming for a dazzling length of over 300 meters. A Guinness World Records judge will be present to measure the final length.
This ambitious project is a celebration of Italian heritage in the United Kingdom, supported by key patrons including the Embassy of Italy in London and the Italian Cultural Institute. World-renowned brands like Illy Cafe and Carnevale are also partnering with the organisers.
The event will feature exciting personalities, with Mikee Introna serving as the Host, and special guest Giuseppe dell’Anno, winner of the Great British Bake-Off.
By purchasing a slice or tray of tiramisù, you will be directly contributing to a fundraising campaign for the Esharelife Foundation. This support is vital, enabling the foundation to continue its work providing education, healthcare, and community support to disadvantaged communities. More than just a fusion of Italian culinary tradition and British heritage, this event offers an exceptional chance to participate in a greater charitable effort. Your contribution will help provide children with opportunities for a brighter future through programs committed to creating meaningful, tangible change for those in need.
