Esharelife Reception in Honour of His Majesty King Charles III’s Birthday

On 14th June, in celebration of His Majesty the King’s birthday, Esharelife hosted a special event that brought together friends, supporters, and charitable partners in a shared commitment to transforming lives. More than just a celebration, the event served as a powerful reminder of Esharelife’s mission to empower the most vulnerable through access to learning, opportunity, and sustainable development.

The event was made especially meaningful by the presence of representatives from many of Esharelife’s valued beneficiary organisations. Among them was Antonino Masuri from AVSI Kenya, Esharelife’s longest-standing beneficiary, whose work continues to uplift and inspire communities through educational support and vocational training. Alongside him were Sister Rowena and Sister Agnes from the Medical Mission Sisters, whose long-standing humanitarian service continues to support some of the world’s most disadvantaged communities mainly focused on the support of women. Also in attendance were Lucy Ward, Philanthropy Executive at the British Red Cross and Tracy Trumble, manager of Acorn Farm—each representing initiatives that directly benefit from Esharelife and whose presence reflected how your support enables us to achieve global reach and impact.

The event was further distinguished by the presence of several international diplomats and political figures from the UK and San Marino government who generously lent their support. Their presence demonstrated broad political support for Esharelife’s work and a shared belief in the transformative power of education.

Throughout the day, guests were encouraged to support Esharelife’s vital initiatives, particularly in underserved areas where access to learning and many necessities remains limited. Thanks to the generosity shown on the day, the event raised significant funds that will directly benefit children and communities supported by AVSI Kenya, helping them to provide school fees, educational materials, safe learning environments, and essential vocational programmes for youth and families. Their work directly benefits children and families across the country through a range of impactful, community-based initiatives. These include:

  • St. Kizito Vocational Training Institute, empowering around 800 young people each year with technical skills and job opportunities—offering a sustainable path out of poverty.
  • Simba Village, a women-led children’s home providing safety, shelter, and loving care for 130 vulnerable and orphaned children.
  • The Ukiachilie Project for Disabled Children, offering vital psychological support and specialised services to 130 children and families living with disabilities.
  • St. Joseph’s Hospital, delivering lifesaving AIDS treatment and maternity care, supporting 200–300 regular patients and receiving 30–40 visitors daily.
  • The ESM Project, supporting women’s empowerment through microcredit groups, enabling them to invest in their families, businesses, and futures.

As Esharelife continues its mission, this special celebration stands as a testament to what can be achieved when individuals and institutions come together in the spirit of generosity, compassion, and shared responsibility.
